BEATRICE S. PIKE

PINK HILL -- The funeral for Beatrice Sandlin Pike, 71, of 3992 Pleasant Hill Road, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church, where she was a member. The Reverends Jim Maddox, Johnny Pike, David Pike and Wayne Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park.

Mrs. Pike died Wednesday.

She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Brown of Pleasant Hill and Beatrice Stroud of LaGrange; four sons, Johnny Earl Pike of Raleigh, Sam Douglas Pike of Kinston, Eddie Joe Pike of Pleasant Hill and Terry Michael Pike of Fayetteville; two sisters, Sybil Turner of Richlands and Annie Gresham of Kenansville; one brother, Morris Sandlin of Washington state; and 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Tabernacle Free Will Baptist Church and other times at the home of Shirley and Clifton Brown, 153 Brown Farm Lane, Pleasant Hill.

Howard-Carter Funeral Home is serving the family.
