DOLORIS SALINAS

MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Doloris "Lois" Lee Salinas, 68, of 10093 Statesville Road, North Wilkesboro, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Tyndall Fu-neral Home. The Rev-erends Robert Duncan and Steven Ruberg will officiate. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

Mrs. Salinas died Tuesday night at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.

She was a native of Mount Olive and was the daughter of the late P. Bee and Carrie Underhill Lee and was the widow of Robert "Bobby" Salinas. She had been a teacher's assistant at West Hillsborough Church School and attended the West Hillsborough Baptist Church, both in Tampa, Fla. where she was a recent resident.

She is survived by a son, Victor K. Thornton and his wife, Lori, of Seminole, Fla.; a daughter, Kim M. McGuire and her husband, John, of North Wilkesboro; a brother, Bee J. Lee of Mount Olive; and four grandchildren, Ashley McGuire and Amber McGuire, both of North Wilkesboro, and Melissa Thornton and Matthew Thornton, both of Seminole, Fla.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Fitzhugh Lee and Hampton Lee, and by sisters, Christine L. Kornegay and Lina Mae L. Wellons.

The family will be receiving friends at the home of Bee J. and Ann Lee, 318 West Station Street in Mount Olive.
