NOAH I. HAM
SNOW HILL -- Noah Ishmael Ham, 83, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Smith-Ham Cemetery on Dyke Smith Road in Greene County.
Mr. Ham was born in Greene County on July 10, 1920, to Thedia and Hannah Smith Ham and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by two daughters, Niki Ham Norrell of Santa Cruz, Calif., and Jill Ham Tyner and her husband, J.L., of Marietta, Ga.; one brother, Howard Ham, and his wife, Janice, of LaGrange; a sister, Ellen Ham Carraway of Atlanta, Ga.; six grandchildren, Jonah Norrell of Santa Cruz, Calif., Jason Tyner, John Tyner, Jennifer Tyner, Brittany Tyner and Bryan Tyner all of Marietta, Ga.; and three great-grandchildren, Jacelyn Tyner, Carolina Tyner and Joei Tyner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harper Ham; a sister, Winnie Butler; and his dear friend, Carey Norrell.
Immediately following the service on Wednesday, the family will gather at the home of Janice and Howard Ham, 843 Dyke Smith Road, LaGrange.
