VIVIAN CRAWFORD
PIKEVILLE -- Vivian Sasser Crawford, 87, of 510 Nor-Am Road, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The funeral will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The Reverends Bill Cotton and Tim Creel will officiate.
Mrs. Crawford was born in Wayne County to the late E.R. and Mattie Summerlin Sasser. She was the widow of Leslie Crawford and was a member of St. John Free Will Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for 40 years.
She is survived by a son and daughter, Gene and Eula Crawford of Asheboro; a daughter and son, Doris and Charles Forehand of Pikeville; and a granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service tonight, and other times at the home.
