ESSIE B. MOORE
ROSE HILL -- Essie Browder (Grannie) Moore passed away Friday at her home.
Essie was born March 1, 1918 to the late Gadberry and Emma Browder. She became the wife of Thomas William Moore.
She is survived by two daughters, Doris Frederick of Warsaw and Carolyn Howard of Wallace; two brothers, the Rev. Leland Browder of West Columbia, S.C., and Henry Browder of West Columbia, S.C.; one sister, Ethel Weaver of West Columbia, S.C.; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today at 7 p.m. at Wells Chapel Church with visitation following in the fellowship hall. A graveside service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Wells Chapel.
Arrangements are by Community Funeral Home of Rose Hill.
