GROVER L. TURNAGE

LAGRANGE -- Grover Lee Turnage, 74, of 332 Beston Road, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Jarman officiating. Burial will be in the Snow Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Turnage was a native of Greene County and was the son of the late John and Nannie Turnage. He was a retired farmer in Wayne County and was a United States Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by two sons, Dale R. Turnage, and wife, Betty Jo, of Goldsboro and Mike S. Turnage and wife, Marilyn, of Goldsboro; one daughter, Tracy T. Scott, and husband, Pat, of LaGrange; three grandchildren, Stephanie Turnage Capps, Emily Turnage and Bryan Turnage; two great-grandchildren, Taylor Howell and Katie Capps; two sisters, Margaret Pope of Dudley and Laura Faukenburg of Ayden; and a special friend, John Carter.

Flowers are welcome or memorial donations may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 2402 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Seymour Funeral Home, and other times at the home of Dale and Betty Jo Turnage, 210 Antioch Road, Goldsboro.
