RUTH MAE USHER
MOUNT OLIVE -- Ruth Mae Usher, 67, of 166 County Road, will be held Saturday at 11 a.m at St. James Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, with the Rev. Joseph Warren officiating. Burial will be in Carver Cemetery.
Mrs. Usher died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.
She is survived by four sons, Kenneth Usher, James Usher and Cornell Usher of Mount Olive and Walter Usher of Chapel Hill; one daughter, Ruby "Pat" James of Virginia Beach, Va.; three brothers, Rufus Newkirk of Jacksonville and Willie Newkirk and Larry Newkirk of Baltimore, Md.; four sisters, Jewel Washington of Jacksonville, N.C., and Delois Rouse, Edna Hardy and Linda Palmer of Baltimore, Md.; and several grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 3 until 7 today at Garris Fuenral Home.
