WILLIAM WHALEY
WILSON -- William Ernest Whaley, 78, of 1603 Kincaid Ave., died Wednesday at Wilson Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held Friday at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park. The Rev. Sherwood Page will officiate.
Mr. Whaley is survived by his wife, Mary Sykes Whaley of the home; one daughter, Kay W. Barnes of Goldsboro; one son, Donald "Bill" Whaley of Wilson; two sisters, Adelle Turner of Warsaw and Louise Whaley of Kenansville; one brother, J.T. Whaley of Warsaw; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 8:30 at Shingleton Funeral Home, and other times at the residence.
