KINSTON -- Esther Mumford, 98, of 214 W. Washington St., died Thursday at Meadows North.
The funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Swinson Funeral Home with the Rev. James O. Williams officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.
Survivors include two daughters, Queen Carroll of Dale City, Va., and Evelyn Raynor of Mount Olive; one son, Napoleon Mumford of Madison, Wis.; one sister, Mary F. Dove of Kinston; and seven grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be from 2 until 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
