SEVEN SPRINGS -- Betty Lois Gower, 58, of 1201 Chambers Road, died Friday at Pitt County Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Howard-Carter Funeral Home with the Rev. Bessie Murphy officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery in Kinston.
Mrs. Gower was employed in the pharmacy at Wal-Mart.
She is survived by her husband Robert Gower; two daughters, LaDonna Houston of Kinston and Krystal Loftin of Pink Hill; one son, Junius "J.J." Perry Jones of Kinston; one brother, Larry Futrelle of Florida; three sisters, Grace Futrelle of Kinston, Faye Landers of Maryland and Margie McCoy of Georgia; two stepdaughters, Carol Fox of Garner and Tammy Langston of Clayton; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Howard-Carter Funeral Home in Kinston, and other times at the home, and at 3480 Dobbs Farm Road, Kinston.
