PAUL BRADFORD

Paul Bradford died on Saturday, May 29, 2004, at Wayne Memorial Hospital following a short illness.

Mr. Bradford was born in Bee Log, North Carolina, to the late Rex Bradford and Martha Hensley Bradford. While serving in the United States Air Force, he was awarded a Bronze Star for his service in World War II, the Good Conduct Medal and the Air Force Longevity Service Award. Mr. Bradford retired after twenty years of service in the United States Air Force and had earned a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from East Texas State University. After working a number of years as a clinical psychologist, he retired in Goldsboro.

A memorial service will be held Monday, May 31, 2004, at 5 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.

Mr. Bradford is survived by his wife, Carmen Knauss Bradford; his daughters, Karin Parker, and husband, Todd, of Atkinson and Cathryn Hayes and husband, Jimmy, of Morristown, Tenn,; his beloved and cherished granddaughter, Heather Michelle Hayes of Raleigh; his sister, Freda Maxey, and husband, Oris, of Greeneville, Tenn.; his nieces, Dawn Gibson of Greeneville, Tenn., and Donna Norman of Zephyr Hills, Fla.; and his great-niece, Hillary Tilson of Zephyr Hills, Fla.

Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
