LESSIE SIMONSON
BAILEY -- Lessie Pearl Davis Simonson, 79, died Friday at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Joyner's Funeral Home . The Rev. Sidney Webb will officiate. Burial will be in Thorne-Davis family cemetery in Rock Ridge.
Mrs. Simonson is survived by her husband, Harold Simonson; three daughters, Frances Stroud, Frankie Marshall and Linda Alphin of LaGrange; two sons, James Garland Clark Jr. and Charles Patrick Clark of LaGrange; five sisters, Estelle Wells of Wallace, Gladys Moye and Sally Alphin of LaGrange, Dorothy Garris of Wilson and Virginia Davis of Kinston; one brother, George Davis of Burgaw; and six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Joyner's Funeral Home in Wilson, and other times at 7439 Haw Branch Drive, Bailey.
