MILDRED L. COBB

PIKEVILLE -- Mildred Langley Cobb, 75, of 103 Western Wayne Drive, died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

A native of Wilson County, she was the daughter of Annie Belle Williams Langley of Goldsboro and the late Henry Cecil Langley and was married to the late Morrison Brooks Cobb. Mrs. Cobb was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

The funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. G. James Frasher officiating. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Cobb is survived by two sons, Danny Brooks Cobb and wife Shelia Mozingo Cobb of Pikeville, and Douglas Clay Cobb and wife Claudette Lewis Cobb of Pikeville; one sister, Evelyn Hamilton and husband Broadus of Kannapolis; one brother, Fred Langley and wife Kathy of Hickory; sister-in-law, Rebecca Langley of Wilson; brother-in-law, Malcolm Flowers of Tennessee; her grandchildren, Michelle Odom and husband Kenneth of Pikeville, Jennifer Parks and husband Phillip of Goldsboro, Brandon Cobb of Wilson and Kristen Cobb of Wilson; her great-grandchildren, Alan and Alanya Odom of Pikeville; her step-grandchildren, Brandy Bailey and husband Thomas of Pikeville and Bradley Collier of Greenville; and her step great-grandchild, Hunter Bailey of Pikeville.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Hank Langley, Bruce Langley and Tommy Langley; and her sister, Liba Flowers.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
