MYRTLE BROADWAY
Myrtle Hicks Broadway, 92, of 380 Country Day Road, died Tuesday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Johnston County, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Ada Sullivan Hicks and was married to the late Dock Tyson and John Franklin Broadway. She was a member of Liberty Pentecostal Holiness Church.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald Holloman will officiate. Burial will be in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery in Four Oaks.
Mrs. Broadway is survived by a daughter, Barbara Crossland of New Mexico; a son, James E. Hicks of Smithfield; and seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
