MOUNT OLIVE -- Faye Rita McKissock Tewes, 71, of 495 Raynor's Mill Road, died Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

She was born in Jeannette, Pa., to the late Sylvester and Iva Chote McKissock and was married to the late Gerald Francis Tewes. She was a member of Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church and was employed as a clerk at the Friendly Mart.

Her survivors include one son, Michael Francis Tewes of Goldsboro; three daughters, Rita Frances T. Junas of Kentucky, Faye Frances Horne of Grantham and Jean Frances Madeira of LaGrange; one sister Doris Hartland of Pa..; eleven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a special friend Elaine Corbett of the home.

A memorial services will be held tonight at 7 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home, with Father William Ruhl, OSFS, presiding.

The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service, and at other times at the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kitty Askins Hospice Center, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro N.C, 27534; or to the Wayne County Relay for Life.
