MOUNT OLIVE -- The funeral for Ruth Boney Wallace, 95, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Northeast Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Jesse Warren will officiate. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Park.
Mrs. Wallace, a resident of District Heights, Md., and formerly of Mount Olive, died Thursday, May 6, at Prince George Community Hospital.
She is survived by two sons, Cornell Boney of Capitol Heights, Md., and Preston Wallace of Mitchellville, Md.; and 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
The viewing hours will be from 5 until 7 p.m. today at Garris Funeral Home and the family will be there from 6 until 7. At other times the family will receive friends at 305 E. Hillsboro St.
