BALTIMORE -- Samuel Vaughn Burton Jr. died Sunday in St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Wayland Baptist Church in Baltimore.
Mr. Burton's survivors include his wife, Catherine Taylor Burton of the home, and his mother-in-law, Nora Bell Grantham of Goldsboro.

The family is being served by Vaughn-Greene Funeral Home on Liberty Road in Baltimore.
