TAVA RIPPY
ROSE HILL -- The funeral for Tava Nola Murfree Rippy, 96, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Rose Hill Funeral Home. Isaac Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the Murfree family cemetery in Warsaw.
Mrs. Rippy died on April 28 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Spring Valley, N.Y.
She was a native of Nash County and was the daughter of the late Joshua P. and Octava Bottoms Murfree.
She is survived by one sister, Sudie M. Henry of Warsaw; and four brothers, Ervin Murfree of Spring Valley, N.Y., I.W. Murfree of Oxford, Dorsey Murfree of Salisbury, Md., and Fuller E. Murfree of Washington, D.C.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 4 until 7 p.m. at Rose Hill Funeral Home.
