SNOW HILL -- Cora Lee Baker New, 71, died Tuesday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service. Dr. Gene Martin will officiate.
Mrs. New is survived by her husband, Calvin A. New of Como; daughters, Sylvia Hl Littleton of LaGrange, Frances Hamilton of Suffolk, Va., and Rose Mary Lujan of Sweet Water, Texas; sons, Michael Hinson of Michigan, Allen Hinson of Arkansas and Ronald James Hinson of Utah; sisters, Shirley Hill and Dora Miller of Mount Olive; a brother, James Baker of Mount Olive; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and five stepchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service on Saturday, and other times at the home of Sylvia Littleton, 141 Brook Meadow Lane, LaGrange.
