EDWARD HOLLAND
Edward Carroll Holland, age 61, of 128 Cedar Lake Drive, died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Wayne County to the late James Raeford Sr. and Edna Kornegay Holland and was married to the late Irene Booth Holland. A veteran of the United States Air Force, he was a retired plumber.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The Rev. Rick Mondell will officiate.
He is survived by one daughter, Robin H. Odom of Mount Olive; one brother, James R. Holland Jr. of Goldsboro; two sisters, Betsy Wells of Goldsboro and Judy Price of Apex; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C., 27834.
