KENNETH O. JOHNSON
CHARLOTTE -- Kenneth Owen Johnson, 79, of Charlotte died Sunday, April 25.
Mr. Johnson was a native of Goldsboro. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a retired minister with The Salvation Army.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita; daughter, Major Paula Powell of Baltimore, Maryland; son, Major Kenneth O. Johnson Jr. of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and four grandchildren.
A service to celebrate his life was held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at The Salvation Army.
