ANNA M. BEERS
Anna Mae Shaffer Beers, 80, of 702 North Spence Ave., died Friday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Monday evening at 7 p.m. from the chapel of Howell Fu-neral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Beers was born in Bedford, Pennsylvania, on February 22, 1924 to the late George and Mary Jones Shaffer. She was a member of Daniels United Methodist Church and was a past Nurse's Aide.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Lee Beers; one son, John Deetz and wife Rita of Wiley Ford, West Virginia; two daughters, Mary Jane Tobias of Goldsboro and Sharon Beers and fiance Roger Rouse of Goldsboro; eight grandchildren, Larry Tobias, Kenny Deetz, Mike Deetz, Tammy Bittinger, Todd Deetz, Sueann Deetz, Steven Tobias and Michael Beers; 12 grandchildren; and a special nephew, Jerome Lechliter and wife Connie of Piedmont, West Virginia.
The family will receive friends Monday evening following the service at Howell Funeral Home and Crematory.
