GERTRUDE TAYLOR
Gertrude Taylor, 87, formerly of Shiney Rock Lane, Dudley, died this morning at Britthaven of Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held by the graveside on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mrs. Taylor was born in West Virginia on October 26, 1916 to the late John and Virginia Thacker Drumheller.
She is survived by one daughter, Jacqueline Jordan and husband, Robert, of Goldsboro; one grandson, David Hope of Pikeville; and two great-grandsons, Jason Hope of Goldsboro and Brandon Hope of Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Taylor; and two sisters, Bessie Prout and Mary Taylor.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7 until 8:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro, and other times at the home of her daughter, 845 Buck Swamp Road.
