KENNETH DANIELS SR.
RALEIGH -- Kenneth Earl Daniels Sr., 67, of 1201 Blue Beard Way, died Monday at Wake Medical Center.
He was born in Wayne County and reared in the Grantham community and was the son of the late Thomas Lloyd and Nellie Hazel Grady Daniels. He had served his country in the U. S. Air Force and was a retired diesel engine mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Britt Daniels of the home; four children, Kenneth Daniels Jr. of Knightdale, Lynn Burroughs and husband, Jeff, of Pikeville, Kathy Lusk and husband, Paul, of Knightdale, and John Mark Daniels and wife, Diane, of Zebulon; two sisters, Marjorie Barnes of Hope Mills, and Faye Baker of Faison; and eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents, a brother, Norwood Daniels, preceded him in death.
The funeral will be held by the graveside on Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Maplewood Cemetery in Mount Olive with the Rev. William Cotton officiating.
The family will receive friends at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive on Wednesday from 1 until 2 p.m.
