BERNICE B. CIVILS
Bernice Benton Civils, 83, of 3499 Pauls Path Road, LaGrange, died Saturday at Lenoir Memorial Hospital in Kinston.
The funeral will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Garner Funeral Home with the Rev. Ruffin Hill officiating. Burial will be in Pinelawn Memorial Park.
She is survived by a son, David M. Civils Jr. of Trenton; one sister, Evelyn Hatch of Kinston; three brothers, Malcolm E. Benton of the home, Hugh F. Benton Sr. of Kinston and John P. Benton of LaGrange; and two step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Garner Funeral Home.
