PIKEVILLE -- Mrs. Eva Blow "Mama Eva" Forehand, 87, died Friday at the Brian Center.

A native of Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Robert Lee Blow and Mary Walston Blow. Mrs. Forehand worked with Textilease for over 20 years and was a member of Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m. at Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church with Dr. Don Sauls officiating. Burial will be in Pikeville Cemetery.

Mrs. Forehand is survived by her daughters, Maxine F. Suggs and husband, Leon, of Goldsboro and JoAnne F. Bass of Pikeville; her sister, Athelene B. Forehand of Pikeville, her grandchildren, Frank Suggs and wife, Patti, of Raleigh, Gwen Pate and husband, Jerry, of Pikeville, Cam Sauls and husband, Dwayne, of Southport, Don Bass and wife, Barbara, of New Bern, Lamont Bass of Pikeville and Michael Bass and wife, Kelly of Mystic, Conn; great-grandchildren, Beth Suggs, Will Suggs, Jeremy Pate, Bryan Pate, Adam Sauls, Erica Sauls, Tiffany Bass, Travis Bass, Jessica Bass and Amanda Zaytou; and great-great grandson, Landon Zaytou.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Irene Lee; and her brother, Herman Blow.

Pallbearers will be Neal Blow, Chris Lee, Steve Brock, Lavon Corbett, Bryan Pate, and Adam Sauls.

Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Suggs, Don Bass, Lamont Bass, Michael Bass, Jeremy Pate, Will Suggs, Travis Bass.

Although flowers are welcome, memorials may be made to the Pikeville Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, P. O. Box 910, Pikeville, 27863

The family received friends Saturday from 7-9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Leon and Maxine Suggs, 2121 N.C. Hwy 111 North, Goldsboro.
