MAUDE FOOS
Maude Edwards Foos, 87, formerly of Smithfield, died Monday at Meadow View Terrace in Clarksville, Va.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Casey Funeral Home in Princeton. Burial will be in Princeton Cemetery.
Mrs. Foos was the daughter of the late Vine and Mary Edwards of Princeton. She served in the Women's Army Corps in World War II and was a registered nurse. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Foos, 11 brothers and sisters, and one grandson.
She is survived by one sister, Mozelle Woodard of Princeton; one daughter, Gail Davidson of Clarksville, Va.; two sons, Clifford Foos of Smithfield and Gene Braswell of Goldsboro; and eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at Casey Funeral Home on hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
