RAVON WALKER
PRINCETON -- Ravon "Chicken" Walker, 78, of 410 W. Railroad St., died Monday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
He was born on Sept. 5, 1925, and was the son of the late Warren Henry and Gertrude Mitchell Walker. He was a member of Life Changers Community Church in Princeton and served as caretaker of the Princeton Cemetery for many years.
He is survived by one sister, Scottie Walker Smith of Princeton.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Mt. Zion Church of God in Princeton. Pastor Leroy Hargett will officiate. Burial will be in Princeton Cemetery.
The family will be at the church to receive friends one hour prior to the funeral.
The body will lie in state until Saturday morning at Casey Funeral Home in Princeton.
