EMMETT HEIGHT

Emmett Earl Height, 58, of 107 N. Georgia Ave., died on March 10 at his residence.

The funeral will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. at Pentecostal Holy Church, 600 E. Pine St. Bishop D. Clemmons will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park on Old Grantham Road.

Mr. Height is survived by one son, Emmett Height Jr. of Goldsboro; one daughter, Geneva Jarmon of Florida; three brothers, Alexander Height Jr., Harold Sherard and Bobby Sherard, all of Goldsboro; two sisters, Peggy Best of Goldsboro and Carolyn Sherard of Seven Springs; six grandchildren including one special grandson, Antonio Height; two special nephews, Darryl Best of Pikeville and Garland Best Jr. of Detroit, and several other nephews and nieces.

The viewing hours will be from 3 until 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Hamilton Funeral Chapel of Goldsboro, and the family will be there to receive friends from 6 until 7 p.m. At other times the family will be at 1303 Mimosa St., Goldsboro.
