CARRIE MARTIN
Carrie Hughes Martin, 75, a resident of Country Side Living, died Sunday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Berry House officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Cemetery in Seven Springs.
Mrs. Martin was a native of Sampson County. She was the daughter of the late Claude and Elizabeth Simmons Hughes and the widow of Hubert Henderson Martin.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy M. Carmack of Seven Springs; three sons, Robert H. Martin, Sr. of Pierron, Ill., Alton Martin of Goldsboro and Danny Ray Martin of South Korea; two sisters, Maggie Lane and Beulah Hinson of Goldsboro; and 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home; and other times at the home of Alton Martin, 339 Combs Road, Goldsboro
