LINDA B. GOFF

DUDLEY -- Linda Brogden Goff, 58, died Monday at Raleigh Community Hospital.

The funeral will be held Thursday at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald Holloman will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park.

Mrs. Goff was born in Wayne County. She was the daughter of Charlie Curtis Brogden of Goldsboro and the late Annie Mae Temple Brogden and was married to the late Raymond James Goff.

In addition to her father, she is survived by two sons, Raymond J. Goff Jr. of Dudley and Tony C. Goff of Goldsboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda Ann and David Thompson of Goldsboro; her fiancé, Buddy Faircloth of Dudley; one sister, Margaret West of LaGrange; and seven grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, eight nieces and one nephew.

The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home of Goldsboro, and other times at the home of Linda Ann and David Thompson, 2196 Old Smithfield Road.
