DONALD L. LINDLEY

PITTSBORO -- Donald (Donnie) Lee Lindley, 56, of Laurels of Chatham of Pittsboro died Saturday at Chatham Hospital Inc., Siler City.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Emmaus Baptist Church, 2430 Silk Hope Gum Springs Rd., Pittsboro. The Rev. Steve Moore and the Rev. Ray Gooch will officiate. Burial will follow in Emmaus Baptist Church Cemetery, Pittsboro.

Donald was a native of Chatham County and a member of Emmaus Baptist Church.

He is survived by his sister, Virginia Buckner of Pittsboro; brother, Wilfred Lindley of Goldsboro and Lester Lindley; and many friends and relatives.

Visitation will be held today from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Smith and Buckner Funeral Home, 230 N. Second Ave., Siler City, and at other times, at the home of Virginia and Bobby Buckner, 3299 Silk Hope-Gum Springs Road, Pittsboro.

Memorials may be made to Emmaus Baptist Church, 2430 Silk Hope Gum Springs Road, Pittsboro, 27312.
