RETHA MATTHEWS
Retha Mae Davis Matthews, 86, died Tuesday at SunBridge Rehabilitation Care.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at New Stoney Hill United Holy Church. The Rev. Howard McNair will officiate. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park North.
Mrs. Matthews was the daughter of the late Jim Allen and Rachel Eatman Davis. She was a member of New Stoney Hill Holy Church. She enjoyed working in the kitchen and serving others.
She is survived by a sister, Ella Louise Davis of Grantham; five grandchildren, five nephews, five nieces, and a very dedicated niece, Dorothy Williamson of Grantham.
The viewing hours will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Saturday at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
