DEXTER BROWN
Dexter Lee Brown, 69, of 103 Courtland Place died Monday at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
A native of Moore County, he was the son of the late Aster Brown and Hester Britt Brown and was retired from the United States Air Force.
A celebration of his life will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Garner officiating.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife Ann Wrench Brown; two sons, Dexter Greg Brown and wife, Stacie, and Michael Lee Brown and wife, Sharon, of Goldsboro; one daughter, Kathy Lynn Ray and husband, Gavin, of Greenville; one sister, Janice Garner and husband, Leon, of Troy; one sister-in-law, Betty Brown of Robbins; and six grandchildren, Michael David Brown, Jessica Brown, David Brown, Timmy Brown, Dylan Ray and Chandler Ray.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Brown and Larry Brown.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 1 until 2 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
