BETTY D. TAYLOR
PIKEVILLE -- Betty Davis Taylor, 69, of 212 Butterfly Lane, died Saturday evening at home.
A private graveside service will be held at Pikeville Cemetery with Pastor Allen Stocks officiating.
Mrs. Taylor was a native of Wayne County, born on September 15, 1934, to the late Waytous and Judith Lancaster Davis.
She is survived by her husband, James R. Taylor; one son, Darwin Taylor and wife, Joann, of Fremont; one daughter, Diann Baker of the home; one brother, James Roscoe Davis of Pikeville; one sister, Myrtle Tillman of Pikeville; one grandson, Darby Mooring; and one great-granddaughter, Megan Mooring.
Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 930-B Wellness Drive, Greenville, N.C., 27834.
The family is being served by Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
