Ruby Scott Frederick, 80, died Sunday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.
The family will be receiving friends at the home of her daughter, Pastor Adell Hamilton, 142 Orbit Road in Goldsboro.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
