MAGDALINE A. KEATHLEY

ALBERTSON -- Magdaline Alphin Keathley, 77, of Woodland Church Road, died Thursday night at Wayne Memorial Hospital.

Daughter of the late Tarnce and Victoria "Queenie" Turner Alphin, she was the widow of Lewis Keathley. She was a homemaker and operator of the family farm and its grape vineyard and was a real estate agent.

She is survived by three children, Jonathan Keathley of Quebec City, Canada, Andrew Keathley and wife, Melba, of Mount Olive and Victoria "Vicky" Keathley of Winterville; three grandchildren, Mark Keathley, Maureen Keathley and Alan Keathley all of Mount Olive; and a brother, Ben Frank Alphin of Mount Olive.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Lewis Keathley Jr.; and three brothers, Jesse Willard Alphin, Roosevelt Alphin and Yancey Alphin.

Funeral services for Mrs. Keathley will be held tonight at 7 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive with the Rev. Steven Wicks officiating. Visitation will follow the service. When not at the home, the family will be at the Andrew Keathley residence, 1741 Tram Rd., Mount Olive.

A private entombment will be in the family cemeter.
