ANNA L. UNDERWOOD
Anna Lee Underwood, 84, of 150 Longs Plant Farm Road, died Thursday at Pitt Memorial Hospital. She was born in Royal, W. Va., to the late Baxter and Evia Jane Fox Hicks and was married to the late Elmer Underwood.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home of Goldsboro. Rick Pridgen will be presiding. Graveside services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Patton Cemetery in Meadow Bridge, W. Va.
She is survived by two children, Melvin H. Shaver Jr. and Anna M. Shaver, both of Goldsboro; and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends immediately following the funeral service at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home until 8 p.m.
