JOSIE H. GIBBS
CHARLOTTE -- Josie Elizabeth Hobbs Gibbs, 74, of 524 Walnut Ave., Apartment 1, formerly of Fayetteville, died Tuesday at her home.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in Rogers and Breece Funeral Home chapel in Fayetteville by the Rev. Archie Barringer. Burial will be in Lafayette Memorial Park West in Fayetteville.
Mrs. Gibbs is survived by two sons, Ray Hobbs of Columbia, S.C., and Roger Hobbs of Charlotte; three sisters, Judy Overbee and Lucille Camacho of Goldsboro and Mary Dixon of LaGrange; six brothers, Marvin, Randall, Timmy and Melvin of Goldsboro, Warren "Sam" Barfield of Autryville, and Eddie Lee Barfield of Parkton; two grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home.
