The funeral for Janie Lee Williamson Daniels, 83, has been postponed until Monday at 11 a.m. The service will be held at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters on S. Slocumb Street.
Mrs. Daniels was the daughter of the late William Lee Sparrow and Rossie Williamson Harrington. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Frank Levion Daniels Sr., and a granddaughter, Denise Wooden.
She is survived by four daughters, Bessie D. Jones, Jannie D. Powell and Rossie D. Edwards of Goldsboro and Sadie D. Height of Raleigh; two sons, Frank L. Daniels Jr. and Herbert B. Daniels of Goldsboro; 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren; one stepbrother, James Moore of Goldsboro and three stepsisters, Geraldine Dais and Frances Best of Goldsboro and Inez Stamp of Kissimmee, Fla.
The viewing will be on Sunday from 4 until 8 p.m. at Rhodes Funeral Home in Goldsboro.
