FREMONT -- Nancy Barnes, of 810 Martin St., died Tuesday at the Burn Center at the North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Union Grove Church. The Rev. Joseph Braswell will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Barnes is survived by one son, Albert Forte of Fremont; one daughter, Doris Artis of Fremont; one sister, Letha Artis of Fremont; and 17 grandchildren.
The viewing will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday at Rhodes Funeral Home in Fremont, and the family will be there to receive friends from 7 until 8 p.m..
