GARY P. GONSER
TIFTON, Ga. -- Gary Phillip Gonser, 48, a former resident of Goldsboro, died Thursday, Feb. 19, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
A former News-Argus employee, he was the son of Ed and Evelyn Louverne Forehand Gonser of Tifton and Sidney Gene Tice of Ashford, Ala. He moved to Tifton from Waycross last fall and was employed at Wal-Mart.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Larry Gene Tice of Columbus and Wayne Tice of Ashford, Ala.; and a sister, Mary Boughter of Goldsboro.
The funeral was held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors' Tiftarea Chapel. Burial was in Oakridge Cemetery.
