HERBERT CRUMPLER
Herbert Benjamin Crumpler, 82, of 445 Combs Road, died Sunday at Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
A graveside service was to be held today at 2 p.m. at Snow Hill Cemetery.
A native of Wayne County, Mr. Crumpler was the son of the late William Hardy Crumpler and Mary Pate Crumpler and was married to the late Nannie Mae Crumpler. He was a retired truck driver for Roadway Trucking Company and was a veteran of the United States Army.
He is survived by one daughter, Evelyn Cannon of Snow Hill; two grandsons, Jimmy Roger Cannon, and wife, Lorri of Snow Hill and Jan Michael Cannon of Snow Hill; and his great-grandchildren, Haley Cannon and Paige Cannon.
Arrangements are with Seymour Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
