ETHEL DAUGHTRY
SELMA -- Ethel Braswell Daughtry, 91, died Wednesday at her home on Davis Mill Road.
The funeral was to be held today at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma, with the Rev. Jeff McKeel officiating. Burial was to be in Thompson Cemetery.
Mrs. Daughtry was born in Johnston County to the late David and Estella Howell Braswell. She was retired from Belk Hudson in Smithfield.
Her survivors include two daughters, Betty Braswell of Goldsboro and Margie Parrish of Pine Level; a brother, Jesse King "Spud" Braswell of Princeton; two sisters, Beulah Howell of Princeton and Blanche Wojohn of Spanish Fort, Ala.; and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
The family received friends on Thursday night from 7 until 9 at the funeral home.
