JACK W. CAUDILL

Jack Wilson Caudill, age 76, of 315 Glenoak Drive, went to be with his Lord on Wednesday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center.

Born in Lake Wells, Florida, he was the son of the late James Howard and Bonnie Davis Caudill and was married to the former Martha Bowman. A realtor, he attended Lenoir Rhyne College and was the owner and operator of Jack's Service Center. A member of Daniels Memorial United Methodist Church, he was also a member of the IOOF for 50 years, the Goldsboro Host Lions' Club, and the BPOE. A veteran of the U. S. Navy, he saw duty during World War II. He was a loving husband for 53 years and a devoted father & grandfather.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Daniels Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor T. R. Miller officiating. A private burial will take place at Wayne Memorial Park.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, James Arthur and Nita Caudill of Augusta, Ga., and Steven Wilson and Diane Caudill of Wilmington; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie C. and Tim Baker of Goldsboro and Cathy C. and Ralph Roman of Faison; two sisters, Kathleen Parrish of Goldsboro and Ruth Haggard of Durham; and five grandchildren, Allen Baker, Ashleigh Caudill, Patrick Caudill, Holly Caudill, and Ryan Caudill.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Howard Caudill.

Family members will greet friends at the church immediately following the funeral service.

They request that, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be directed to Daniels Memorial United Methodist Church, 2803 E. Ash Street, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534; or to Kitty Askins Hospice Center Building Fund, 107 Handley Park Court, Goldsboro, N.C., 27534.

Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the family.
