PATRICIA SPENCE
TRENTON -- Patricia Ruth MacLaren Spence, mother of Loraine Denise Spence of Goldsboro, died Friday.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Woodington Ward, where a memorial service will be held on Wednesday night at 7. Bishop Gary Whaley will officiate.
Mrs. Spence was the daughter of the late William Mark and Loraine Frances MacLaren and was the widow of Stanley Allen Spence.
In addition to her daughter, Mrs. Spence is survived by three sons, Glenn Alton Spence and Steven Gregory Spence of Kinston and Elliott Mark Spence of Georgia; a sister, Elizabeth Ann McLaren of Croswell, Mich.; a brother, James Gordon MacLaren of Marine City, Mich.; and 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Garner Funeral Home is serving the family.
