MOZELLE W. SULLIVAN

SELMA -- Mozelle Batten Wiggins Sullivan, 82, of Selma died Friday at Smithfield Manor.

Born in Johnston County on Sept. 19, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Lonnie Millard and Annie Thompson Batten. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Matthew Wiggins and Hurbert Sullivan; and son, Nelson Wiggins. She was a member of the Selma Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Parrish Funeral Home in Selma with the Rev. Harmon Smith and the Rev. Mike Walls officiating. Entombment will be in Oakland Heights Cemetery in Smithfield.

She is survived by her son, James Wiggins of Salt Lake City, Utah; three daughters, Pauline Wiggins Herron of Odessa, Texas, Betty Mitchell of Selma, and Hazel Cooper of Goldsboro; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 4 until 6 p.m.
