JAMES LUPTON
MOUNT OLIVE -- James Stanley Lupton, 48, died Tuesday at his home in the Grantham community.
He was born in Indiana to the late Ernest M. and Mary Naomi Lupton. When his health permitted, he attended Unity Baptist Church in Mount Olive.
He is survived by three sisters and a brother-in-law, Mabel Best of Dudley, Nancy and Roger Cooke of Grantham and Judy Hughes of Goldsboro; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held tonight at 7 in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Dr. Ray Warren will officiate.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home immediately following the service tonight, and other times at the homes of his sisters.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the charity of one's choice to honor children or the elderly.
