REBECCA KORNEGAY
Rebecca Kornegay, 97, of 600 E. Elm St., died Friday at Onslow Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville.
The funeral will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Elm Grove Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ. The Rev. Kenneth D. Vaughn will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Kornegay is survived by 12 grandchildren, all of Jacksonville; 33 great-grandchildren; 52 great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild; and one sister, Lavenia Allen of Trinity, N.C.
The viewing will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral on Wednesday.
