EDNA KNIGHT
Edna Pate Edwards Knight, 85, died today at the Brian Center.
A graveside service will be Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the Pikeville Cemetery. Dr. Aubrey Jones will officiate.
Mrs. Knight was born in Wayne County to the late Adli Pate and Edith Jones Pate and was the widow of Lenwood D. Edwards Sr. and John H. Knight. She was a member of St. Joseph United Methodist Church.
Her survivors include a son, Lenwood D. Edwards Jr., and his wife, Sherry, of Pikeville; two brothers, R.D. Pate of Pikeville and Lee Pate, Jr., and his wife, Shirley, of Pikeville; a sister-in-law, Inez Pate of Pikeville; a brother-in-law, Ellis Outland of Pikeville; her grandchildren, Kathryn E. Cole and Jennifer E. Breeze and her husband, Gregory; and a great-grandson, Edward Breeze.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Frances Outland, and a brother, Wilbert Lee Pate.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Seymour Funeral Home.
